Tumba Papermill Museum
Paper for Swedish banknotes has been manufactured at Tumba papermill, just south of Stockholm, since 1755. The mill has also been producing Swedish and foreign notes since 1970. The setting of the mill and its buildings reflect their cultural heritage and the industrial operation. Since 4 June 2005, the site has had a new museum - Tumba Papermill Museum - relating the story of Swedish paper, early immigrant labour, the history of the central bank and banknote printing and the exciting tale of life and work at the mill, along with the history of Botkyrka Municipality.
The new museum has extremely modern exhibitions and displays with a high level of security.
